CFM Expands Its Legacy with Acquisition of William Coates Assets and Brand

CFM is pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets, including the trading name, of William Coates —a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contracting business boasting a rich 60-year legacy. Earlier this year, William Coates entered administration.

Our own journey began in 1974, starting as a plumbing and heating contractor. We  look forward to continuing the legacy of the William Coates brand, which has been at the forefront of significant M&E installations, including the refurbishment of Windsor

Park stadium and the monumental North Sea Link—one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects.

This acquisition not only augments our existing M&E department but also furnishes us with expanded office and storage capacities at the William Coates’ Mallusk Road site.

We've set our sights on adapting and enlarging this facility to transform it into a bespoke operational hub and the cornerstone for CFM’s Greater Belfast and County Antrim operations.
