CFM's Community Strategy
Our Community Strategy is grounded in ethical practices and three core pillars: people, place, and planet. It aims to provide more than immediate benefits, focusing on sustainable impact and community legacies. This strategy guides us to responsibly enhance community welfare by engaging and supporting local networks and partnerships, ensuring our initiatives deliver direct and lasting benefits. Through this approach, we maintain proactive and responsible engagement in all our endeavours.
Pat Keenan, Founder
"At CFM, we believe that business should be a force for good. That’s why we are committed to delivering real, lasting social value in everything we do. From creating local job opportunities and apprenticeships to supporting community initiatives and using sustainable materials, we strive to make a positive impact on both people and the environment. Our goal is not just to provide excellent services but to leave a legacy of opportunity, inclusivity, and sustainability in every community we serve."
Our Purpose

People
We ensure our initiatives support the communities we serve, providing employment opportunities, supporting our local schools and colleges, and assisting the most vulnerable.

Place
We work to ensure our infrastructure and processes reduce the environmental impact of our operations and help safeguard the future for generations.

Planet
We work to actively maintain a diverse programme of events including sponsorship, fundraising initiatives, and volunteering that benefit our local communities.

RESTORE Wellbeing Strategy
At CFM, the health and wellbeing of our staff and extended supply chain are our top priorities. We understand that a happy, healthy workforce is vital for the wellbeing of the organisation.
Our RESTORE strategy is designed to support all CFM staff, supply chain partners, and the local community by providing guidance on all aspects of wellbeing. This strategy ensures a safe, supportive working environment where everyone is empowered to maintain their own wellbeing.
We focus on the five key pillars of wellbeing: Health, Mind, Community, Work, and Home. Each pillar is led by a dedicated champion who drives engagement and upholds our wellbeing culture.
Through RESTORE, we cultivate a strong, sustainable wellbeing culture across our entire business.

We put a key emphasis on wellbeing of the mind, ensuring our staff are educated on mental health, they know where they can get help, and who they can talk to.
Community
We ensure that we maintain the health and wellbeing of our extended supply chain. We engage actively with communities, charities and social enterprises.
Work
We commit to safeguarding the health and safety of our staff, supply chain, customers and the public. We work to ensure effective controls are in place, staff are continually educated, and performance is monitored
Home
We recognise the need for a work life balance. We ensure a holistic approach to wellbeing, where family life and wellbeing is incorporated in all we do. We promote a family ethos, encouraging a healthy work/life balance.
