Replacement Double Glazing Scheme Causeway area

In 2022, CFM was appointed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to deliver Replacement Double Glazing (RDG) works to 289 properties in the Causeway area as part of Lot 6 North Region.

Scope of Work: The project involved:

• Removal of existing wooden windows.
• Installation of argon-filled, double-glazed uPVC windows designed with top hung/side hung storm-proof casements.
• The work was completed on 1-2 storey dwellings and ensured full compliance with current NIHE and Building Regulation standards.

Project Duration: The project spanned a period of 40 weeks, providing residents with upgraded, energy-efficient windows that enhance both comfort and energy conservation.

This initiative improved the overall energy efficiency and weatherproofing of the homes, contributing to a more sustainable and comfortable living environment for tenants.
