In 2022, CFM was appointed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to deliver Replacement Double Glazing (RDG) works to 242 properties in the Derry area as part of Lot 6 North Region.

Scope of Work: The project involved:

  • Removal of existing wooden windows.
  • Installation of argon-filled, double-glazed uPVC windows in the style of top hung/side hung storm-proof casements.
  • The work was carried out on 1-2 storey dwellings, ensuring compliance with current NIHE and Building Regulation standards.

Project Duration:
The project was completed over a 52-week period, significantly improving the energy efficiency and insulation of the properties.

This upgrade provided residents with enhanced comfort and energy savings, while ensuring the properties met all relevant safety and building standards.
