Replacement Double Glazing Scheme, Strabane

In 2022, CFM was appointed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to deliver Replacement Double Glazing (RDG) works to 65 properties in the Strabane area as part of Lot 6 North Region.

Scope of Work: The project involved:

• Removal of existing wooden windows.
• Installation of argon-filled, double-glazed uPVC windows in the style of top hung/side hung storm-proof casements.
• The works were carried out on 1-2 storey dwellings, ensuring compliance with current NIHE and Building Regulation standards.

Project Duration: The project was completed over a 17-week period, enhancing the energy efficiency and comfort of the properties.

This initiative provided residents with modern, energy-efficient windows, improving insulation and reducing energy costs, while also meeting all relevant building standards.
