In 2023, CFM was awarded the Maintenance and Improvement Contract by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) for the South Region Lot 4 – Mid Ulster Area. This contract covers the Mid Ulster region for an initial term of two years, with the option to extend for up to an additional six months.

As one of Northern Ireland’s largest social landlords, the NIHE manages approximately 86,000 properties across the region. Under this contract, CFM is responsible for delivering maintenance and improvement services to approximately 4,500 properties within the Mid Ulster area. The portfolio includes a wide range of property types, such as domestic residences, hostels, garages, commercial spaces, and blocks (shells).

The scope of work encompasses a variety of services, including building, mechanical, and electrical maintenance, responsive repair works, and a 24/7/365 emergency response service. Additional responsibilities include cyclical servicing, disability adaptations, preparations for change of tenancy, planned improvement projects, asbestos removal, and civil engineering works.

The contract is delivered in alignment with rigorous Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality and efficiency. Furthermore, it incorporates comprehensive social clauses and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, aimed at generating meaningful benefits for the local communities served.
