Project Overview: Northern Ireland Housing Executive – Lot 6 North Region

In 2023, CFM was appointed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to deliver critical upgrades and cavity wall insulation across 20 properties in the North region as part of Lot 6. This scheme encompasses a variety of structural and maintenance improvements aimed at enhancing the quality and energy efficiency of the homes.

Scope of Work: The proposed work includes:

  • Survey, design, and construction for the following improvements:
    • Replacement of external doors and windows.
    • Application of cavity wall insulation (CWI).
    • Modifications to perimeter paths and drainage to accommodate new external wall insulation (EWI).
    • Replacement of GRP canopies.
    • Removal of redundant chimneys.
    • Installation of mechanical ventilation systems in bathrooms and kitchens.
    • Roof replacement, including new concrete roof tiles, battens, and felt, due to the age and condition of existing roofs.
    • General external cyclical maintenance works.

Project Duration: 10-weeks

This initiative will significantly enhance the properties' energy efficiency and overall condition, benefiting both residents and the environment.
