Apex Housing - Food Bank

CFM were pleased to work in partnership with Apex housing association as main contractor in the fit out of their new Foyle Foodbank social enterprise facility based in Springtown Derry City.

These works were complete in two phases, with phase one involving:
• Installation of new shop front
• Installation of roller shutter doors
• Installation of sliding doors
• Fitting of new display and packaging counters
• Installation of new commercial fridge freezers

Phase two of these improvement and fit out works involved:
• Extension of foodbank supermarket
• Refurbishment of tea rooms
• Installation of new kitchen
• Full redecoration
• External works including new concrete bases to allow for newly supplied and fitted storage containers

Foyle Foodbank provide emergency food and personnel development programmes to local people in need of support.
