Apex - Mechanical Upgrades
CFM were appointed by Apex Housing in Spring 2019 to complete planned upgrade works across several of their multiple occupancy buildings.
This includes the installation of 2 new ACV SL600 high recovery indirect cylinders with tank in tank technology at St Julian’s House in Omagh, and oil to gas conversions to three of their multiple occupancy buildings in Derry – Foyle Valley, Dunvale House and Belmont Cottages.
These works involved:
• Surveying and Design layout of proposed heating Installations
• Disconnection and Removal of Redundant Systems
• Natural Gas Installations
• Modifications to Existing LTHW Heating Installations
• Modifications to Existing Automatic Controls Installations
• Electrical Services Installations
• Builders Works Installations including wall & loft insulation
• Flame & Smoke Sealing
• Inspection, Protection, Testing and Commissioning
• Operating and Maintenance Instructions/’As Installed’ Drawings
A large portion of recipients of this scheme were classed as "vulnerable adults" either by age or disability therefore it was paramount that these people and their homes were treated with appropriate levels of tenant care and respect. We successfully achieved this by providing superior supervision and tenant liaison throughout the entire installation Programme.
