Despite the challenges that 2020 brought to the Construction & Maintenance Sector, CFM and our teams remained resilient as we successfully mobilised and opened our 5th operational base in Northern Ireland, which is situated in Mallusk, Antirm.
The opening of our 5th base, comprised of a fully serviced stores and office facilities, has allowed us to further extend our reach and footprint across Northern Ireland in line with our corporate business strategy. This base allows us to effectively deliver our recent Maintenance and Servicing Contract, where we are responsible for maintenance and improvement works to 8,000 properties in Antrim & Newtownabbey. It also allows us to support the service delivery of our existing contracts in the Antrim and greater Belfast areas.
The opening of our new base allowed us to recruit and employ 80+ staff and local supply chain members, who help strengthen our service delivery across these areas.
As a maintenance, servicing and logistics business, handling thousands of repairs orders a week, it is critical that we are located locally to be able to respond effectively to client needs, our new base allows just that.
We are fortunate to have a great team in place in our Mallusk depot and look forward to growing and developing this further.
