35 Team Members sacrificed the warmth and comforts of their homes and took to the open air as part of our “Sleep Out” initiative to help raise awareness and much needed funds for those experiencing homelessness across Northern Ireland.
It is estimated that there is a staggering 55,000+ people across NI that are battling homelessness, with that figure rising year on year. Homelessness is not selective and can happen to anyone and the effects are devastating.
Here at CFM, through our maintenance & improvement contracts, we assist and support our clients in trying to alleviate homelessness on a daily basis by providing accommodation that is fit for purpose and helping sustain long term tenancies. We are very proud of the work our teams do every day and the impact they have on people’s lives and are especially proud of their participation in this initiative. Even in the cold and wet conditions they all still had smiles on their faces.
The funds raised from our “Sleep Out” will go toward supporting two outstanding local charities; The Simon Community NI and Shelter NI who both work selflessly and without judgement to support people who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
