Stephen Mc Elwee, our Quantity Surveying placement student was shortlisted for ‘Student of the Year Award’ at the All-Ireland Topcon, Plant & Civil Engineer Awards hosted at the Crown Plaza in Belfast last week. Stephen was among the top students across the North put forward for this prestigious award.
Stephen is now enrolled at NWRC in a 2-year course in Sustainable Construction and is currently on his second year. Stephen feels that “the course at NWRC instilled a confidence in me, alongside a valuable, theoretical and practical set of skills which I now apply on the job.” Next year Stephen will progress into his 3rd year in an under-graduate degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
Stephen has been a credit to the company this far:
